VIDEO: Americans’ Top New Year’s Resolutions

Did you make any of the top New Year’s resolutions for 2023? If you did, you’re in good company, as new research shows just over a third of Americans (37%) say they have a goal or a resolution they want to accomplish in the coming year. It seems most folks are also feeling optimistic about their goals. The survey of a thousand U.S. adults finds 87% of them say they’re somewhat or very likely to keep it throughout next year. The poll also reveals Americans’ top resolutions for 2023 include: Improve physical health (20%) Save more money (20%) Exercise more (19%) Eat healthier (18%) Be happier (17%) Lose weight (17%) Pay down debts (13%) Learn something new (12%) According to the poll, there are also some differences in the New Year’s resolutions men and women make: Women are slightly more likely than men to say that they want to eat healthier in 2023 (23% vs. 13%) More women also have a goal to lose weight than men do (21% vs 12%) And more women want to travel in the new year than men (14% vs. 7%) https://vimeo.com/785940582 [READ NEXT: Pediatricians Say New Year's Resolutions Can Benefit Kids] [ss-signup design_id="1843441"]
