Handsome young funny man dancing in kitchen at home in the morning and have fun on holidays

NowThis! says a group of dads from the UK is raising awareness for men’s mental health in the grooviest way. They dance! Founded back in 2012, the dancing dads group is called Outta Puff Daddys. The men in the group use dance as a way to boost their mental health, something we all have needed throughout the pandemic. The group also provides a safe space for the members to talk openly about their struggles.

Before the pandemic hit, the group met about once a week. During quarantine, the men still met virtually, as this TikTok shows.

Eventually, the group started to meet in person again, where they danced while social distancing.

The dancing dads joined TikTok in 2020, and they now have over 120,900 followers. This is their most recent dance video that gained over a million views and 130,000 likes.

Do you like dancing? Would you try it to improve your mental health?
