Black Ambition CEO, Felecia Hatcher, and Williams shared a video of entrepreneurs receiving their cash prizes, which totaled over $1 million.
“Today we celebrate their determination, resourcefulness, and creativity. Because of Black Ambition, the world will be much more equitable,” Pharrell stated. “Black Ambition will continue to create and push for more seats at the table, so that your talent, not your color, determines your results.”
Livegistics, a software company that streamlines contracting work, was the grand prize winner of $1 million.
The Black Ambition HBCU winner was Dosso Beauty, who received $250,000.
Nine other entrepreneurs received more than $100,000 and 34 other entrepreneurs were awarded $15,000.
