It wasn’t too long ago that I was nervously taking the SAT in the hopes of getting into college. I don’t remember any of the test, except that the high school where I took it (which was not my own) smelled like sweat, sadness, and stress. But that’s just your typical high school, right?
Ahh yes, the SAT memories. Now, the tutoring company called Learner wants to bring alllll those test-taking memories back. They’re looking for an adult to take the multiple-choice sections of the SAT to see if they can score higher than the national average of 1060. This adult will be paid $1,000 to take the test…which would’ve been way cooler to earn as a teenager taking it for the first time. I actually think I had to pay to take it, LOL!
On their website, Learner describes who they’re looking to hire, “Our ideal candidate doesn’t need any special qualifications, just a confident ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to spend three hours taking a test.”
WGN-TV says the tutoring company is not actually authorized to administer the actual SAT test. The company’s chosen candidate will take a practice test instead. This means the candidate can take the test from anywhere.
The test taker will have three hours and 15 minutes to complete the test. And don’t worry, the essay writing is not included or required.
