Happy National Nurses Week! If you're a nurse or healthcare worker, you should definitely how Crocs is celebrating the week.

According to USA Today, 2022 will be the third year that the shoe company has launched its "Free Pair for Healthcare" annual program. Under this program, the company reports they've given away over 1 million pairs of shoes worldwide. This is since they started the program in the spring of 2020 following the Coronavirus outbreak. Crocs teamed up with FIGS, a maker of scrubs, to give away 10,000 pairs of Crocs, and 10,000 pairs of scrubs.

Crocs CEO Andrew Rees said in a statement, "We are humbled to have seen such a positive response to Free Pair for Healthcare over the past two years and are thrilled to continue supporting and celebrating our healthcare heroes in partnership with FIGS."

This past Friday was Nurses Day, which kicked off the giveaways that are continuing until this Thursday, May 12th.

Nurses and all other health care workers are eligible to enter until then. Winners are chosen randomly and will be notified within 24 hours of the end of the giveaway on May 12th.

Someone cue Macklemore from 2012, because we're talking about thrifting! Shopping secondhand is not only cheaper, but it's also sustainable. Plus, you can find some really unique treasures that can't really find in any other retail store.

Not that I really need to sell you on thrift shopping...if you've been before, you know the rush you get when you find that one thing calling your name. The new knick-knack will bring the whole room together. Or the statement piece you've been dreaming about for MONTHS! Whatever you're looking for when you go thrift shopping, you're bound to find something you didn't even know you needed.

I like to thrift shop a lot, and I especially like to go with my best friends. Because obviously, they know your style sometimes better than you do. And it's always nice to fall in love with something that your good friend picks out for you.

These are the 9 best stores around Charlotte for thrift shopping. A lot of them I've been to already, but some of them are at the top of my list to visit and try out! If there are any stores I left off the list, but you think deserve on this list, please let me know!! Seriously, I need thrifting advice as much as anyone. Email me where you go thrifting at lexi@kiss951.com.
