Where Olivia Rodrigo Will Tour in 2022, See The 3 Closest Places To CLT
driver’s license singer Olivia Rodrigo recently announced the tour dates for her “SOUR” tour. Unfortunately, I am so sorry to say that she will not be visiting Charlotte. Actually, she’s not stopping in North Carolina at all. ://
But, for big fans, it might be super fun to make a whole trip out of it and maybe even explore a city you’ve never been to before! Take some of your best friends who also love Olivia and road trip!
Here are the 3 closest venues to Charlotte that you could road trip to:
-
May 4th, 2022 – Anthem in Washington D.C. // ~6 hours by car
-
May 9th, 2022 – Coca Cola Roxy in Atlanta, Georgia // ~4 hours by car
-
May 10th, 2022 – Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee // ~6 hours by car
Tickets go on sale Friday, December 10th so make a plan with your best friends and buy those tix!
If you do, here’s some roadtripping tips:
- Bring at least some food with you. It’s cheaper, and you will get hungry on the long drive, so it’ll save you some time by having food already with you.
- Travel with more than one other person. Not only is it just safer in general to travel in bigger groups, but it’s also eco-friendly to carpool. Plus, roadtripping is a lot of times more fun if you have more people.
- Know the location where you’re going. Sometimes venues can be confusing and just finding parking can be stressful. Make sure you at least have an idea of what to do when you get there.
- Use the app called GasBuddy to find the cheapest gas around while you’re driving. Gas prices can vary a lot these days, so it might save you some money to know where the cheaper gas is.
- Make a hype playlist ahead of time (or plan for someone who’s not driving to take the aux). Listening to an artist’s music right before their concert will make seeing your favorite songs live even more special.
