According to JustJaredJr.com, most of the cast from the TV show is returning for the movie that began filming in March. Of course, to start us off, you couldn't have Teen Wolf without Tyler Posey as the one and only Scott McCall. He will be joined on set by friends Holland Roden as Lydia Martin, Tyler Hoechlin as Derek Hale, Dylan Sprayberry and Khylin Rambo who play Liam Dunbar and Mason Hewitt respectively. And even Colton Haynes as Jackson Whittemore and Shelley Hennig as Malia Tate.
Melissa Ponzio returns as Scott's mom Melissa McCall. JR Bourne returns as Chris Argent, the late Allison's father. Seth Gilliam returns as the veterinarian Dr. Alan Deaton. Even the villain from season 1, Peter Hale will be returning played by Ian Bohen. And SURPRISE! Allison Argent herself returns played by Crystal Reed.
We'll also get to see Sherriff Noah Stilinsky once again played by Linden Ashby. And we can't forget about Orny Adams returning as Coach Bobby Finstock.
Unfortunately, we will not be seeing Keahu Kahuanui as Dany Mahealani from the lacrosse team. Or the twin werewolves Aiden and Ethan played by Max & Charlie Carver. Or Arden Cho as Kira Yukimura, Scott's girlfriend in the later seasons. We also won't be seeing Cody Christian as Theo Raeken or the one and only Dylan O'Brien as Stiles Stilinski. I'm big big sad about that one since Dylan O'Brien is one of the big reasons why I loved watching Teen Wolf.
In this movie, the plot begins when a full moon hits Beacon Hills, causing the dangerous creatures of the night to return. Scott McCall returns to assemble a team of old friends to keep Beacon Hills safe.
The film will be released on Paramount Plus later this year.
Who are you most excited to see return?
You know those dystopian movies that are meant to seem far off in the distant future? A lot of those dystopian movies, like "Blade Runner", "The Terminator" and "Ex Machina," are about robots or artificial intelligence. And they make it seem like 2050 is so far off. But in reality, 2050 isn't even that far away!! 28 years away to be exact!
But even if 2050 still has 28 years to get here, there are some aspects of dystopia that are even closer than that...While many jobs require a human touch, some jobs are quickly being taken over by Artificial Intelligence. Now, depending on who you ask, this could be seen as a negative thing or a positive thing. Clearly, the reason why AI is so pervasive now is that it's intended to increase productivity and effectiveness. But what do you think? Are there drawbacks to machines taking over some of the most important jobs of our society?
According to the website Analytics Insight, five jobs are expected to be outsourced to AI by the year 2050.
Do you think AI could do jobs of doctors and drivers properly? Has your job been taken by AI?
