WATCH: Man Dressed Like Michael Myers Scares Beachgoers in TX
Spooky season is here! But this guy in Galveston, Texas is celebrating a little too early. And some people would say in a pretty frightening way… ABC13 says Mark Metzger is a local attorney to Galveston who thought it would be entertaining to dress up like Michael Myers from “Halloween” and walk along the beach. Not only was he wearing the infamous mask, but Metzger was also carrying a fake knife decorated with fake blood.
Although some people stopped to take pictures with Michael Myers, others were alarmed. Metzger’s bloodied knife looked pretty real to some beachgoers who went as far as to call the police on Metzger. When the police arrived, they charged Metzger with disorderly conduct and released him.
According to ABC13, Metzger said, “I just don’t think they appreciate it that much. I guess there’s some people out there that don’t have a sense of humor or, you know, can’t please them all.”
Personally, I think this man is oblivious to how it looks when a stranger approaches you on a beach carrying a bloodied knife?? Because I think I would’ve called the police too. So next time Metzger decides to dress up like a serial killer, he might want to leave the knife at home.
