WATCH: U.K. Woman Turned Green After Using Self Tanner
Ever had a horrifying beauty product story? Remember when Gorilla Glue Girl Tessica Brown first went viral a few years ago? She used Gorilla Glue to keep her flyaways down, but it did not go as planned. Now, a woman in the U.K. has a similar beauty product horror story. Although, hers isn’t as painful. This woman turned green!
Devon Birkett of Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria used self-tanner one night recently to try to give herself a golden glow. She explained to the Daily Mail that she is usually pale “like a ghost”. So, she put on one layer of St Moriz mousse and began watching a true-crime documentary.
According to the Daily Mail, after two hours, Devon saw that her feet had turned a khaki color. So, she lept up to go see herself in the mirror and….well you can see from her TikTok she made about it…She turned GREEN!
She called her friends immediately and they all started poking fun at her, saying she looked like everyone’s favorite Dreamworks ogre Shrek.
In the video, you can see the tub after she washed it all off. A shower definitely helped take most of it off, leaving a tan with only a slight green tint.
On the product she used, Devon said, “I’ve used it for years and it’s never ever done that before. The more it was developing the greener and greener it was going.”
