Here Are The Binge-Worthy Shows On My Netflix Must-Watch List
Looks like this weekend might be perfect for watching some of my favorite binge-worthy Netflix shows! All of these on the list are INCREDIBLE! I could watch all of these a million times, so if you haven’t them yet, I highly recommend them. All of these are accessible through a Netflix subscription.
1. The Queen’s Gambit
Drama, Coming-of-Age, Good-For-Her
The Queen’s Gambit is phenomenal! The story is incredibly enticing and you will root for the main character until the very end. It’s about Beth Harmon, a chess prodigy who first learns how to play from a janitor at the children’s home she grows up in. The story follows her as she grows up and takes on the best of the best chess players. Not only is the story riveting, but the cinematography and direction are 10/10.
2. Behind Her Eyes
Drama, Suspenseful, Riveting
Behind Her Eyes will leave you slightly confused until literally the last 10 minutes of the last episode. But, let me tell you, when it all does come together, it is completely unexpected. I am usually pretty good at predicting endings, but this one came out of left field! It’s about a single woman who ends up getting too involved with her boss and her boss’s wife. Their marriage is odd to say the least and for more than one reason. The main character, Louise, seems to figure it out when it’s too late… 9/10
3. The Staircase
True Crime, Suspenseful, Mystery
The Staircase gives you the full story behind the mysterious death of a woman named Kathleen Peterson, who died on a staircase. It follows her husband, an author named Michael Peterson, and how he is suspected of murdering her. Directed by French director Jean-Xavier de Lestrade, it shows real footage of the courtrooms, of the family, of everything you could want. It is a wild case! 8/10
4. Sex Education
Teen Drama, Comedy, British Humor
It will never change that Sex Education is truly one of my favorite shows of all time. This show has everything you can ever want. The character development, the cinematography, the setting, the storyline, the humor, the romance. It’s truly one-of-a-kind and I can’t wait until a third season comes out. It follows the lives of British high school students as they maneuver all kinds of conflicts and issues. This series is unique in that it will truly make you feel one way about a character and then once they are developed a bit more, you completely change your mind. It’s the BEST! 10/10
