Man Uses Electric Unicycle As Answer to High Gas Prices
One man is using a very unique way to get to work while saving money on gas. According to York News Times, Rick Madeira of Fall River, Massachusetts has been riding his electric unicycle to work!
Madiera’s Gotway Nokia Plus unicycle can last up to 80 hours on a single charge and can go up to 40 miles per hour. This makes it super easy on the environment and provides a decent alternative to driving. One that, in Rick Madeira’s case, is faster than traveling by car.
“It’s just more convenient and it’s obviously more fun,” Madeira told The Herald. “It literally takes me four minutes to get to work, versus about eight minutes in a vehicle.”
It seems someone else is also avoiding gas prices using a unicycle in this viral video from Twitter. In the video, you can see the man in the car trailing this man on the unicycle is going almost 40mph. That is one quick unicycle!!! It is a bit scary that this man is going this fast, but not wearing a helmet! I think I’d definitely need to wear one just so I would be able to start going at all! The caption reads, “Ima 100% sure my mans an Avenger”.
