Back in May, Demi Lovato announced that they identify as non-binary and will use they/them pronouns.
They are now celebrating their first Pride Month since coming out. So, they decided to team up with Henry Masks to create limited-edition face masks to benefit non-binary youth.
There are four mask designs. My personal favorite is purple and shows the non-binary flag and butterflies (shown below in picture 3). The other three feature retro designs and incorporate the non-binary flag colors: white, yellow, black, and purple.
Demi Lovato posted about it on Instagram yesterday:
The mask pack costs $49.50 for all four masks. 25% of the proceeds will go towards helping LGBTQIA+ youth. The aim is to help “young people and their families as they navigate their gender journey.” The proceeds will be donated to The Center for Transyouth Health and Development at Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles.
Demi said in a statement, “My hope is that we can help make the next generation’s gender journey one of compassion and make everyone feel welcomed and understood for being their true authentic selves.”
