Is Taylor Swift About To Announce A Second Leg And More US Eras Tour Dates? Possibly Charlotte? Rumors Are Swirling
It’s the biggest tour of the year and one of the biggest of my lifetime. Many people have called it a once-in-a-lifetime experience. And if you’re not a Taylor Swift fan (if you aren’t I don’t trust your judgement), you may be ready for the Era’s Tour to be over. But the massive, record-breaking tour is far from that. Taylor recently announced international dates with the tour currently running through November 2024. But as you can see before (note that these international dates are in the day/month format), there are a few open windows in the schedule. This has led many people to ask the question are there going to be more US Era’s Tour Dates as well. Rumors have been swirling for a while now, and I’m starting to feel really good about the possibility of a second leg of the US Eras Tour.
Additional US Eras Tour Dates
The first clue for me was the omission of Canada. I’ve said since Latin America dates were announced I was holding out for Canada. I even resisted the temptation to try for Paris or London tickets. It just makes senses that she would play in Canada at some point on this tour. Considering all of the other places she has chosen to visit, the entire country of Canada seems like an odd omission.
There is also a break from August to November on the above schedule. That’s where I think we could see Canada as well as a few US markets that were missed the first time around. I’ve heard several cities thrown around, including Charlotte. Taylor hasn’t played here since June of 2015 when she brought the 1989 World Tour to Spectrum Center. She has massively outgrown that venue, but could easily play Bank of America Stadium. The only catch? It would have to be a bye week for the Panthers.
Potential Cities For A Second Leg of The Eras Tour
Deuxmoi is a typically reliable leak source on Twitter. And today they are reporting that additional dates, though not including Charlotte are going to be announced very soon.

If this is true catch me in Toronto as well as New Orleans and maybe even Miami? Another list of dates made it’s rounds on Twitter last week, that did include Charlotte. These dates, mysteriously lined up with NFL team’s schedules and fit into the existing Eras Tour schedule as well. Could it be fake? Absolutely. But if it is, whomever faked it went to a lot of trouble.
So take this for what it’s worth. As a die-hard Taylor Swift fan, who stays very much on top of any and everything Taylor does. I feel pretty good about a second leg of US Eras Tour dates. Two weeks ago I was 50/50. Last week I upped that to 60/40 in favor of more shows. At this point (knock on wood 1000x) I’m 75/25. Easily.
Maybe it was wishful thinking, probably mindless dreaming. But I’d love love love to see the Eras Tour at least one or two more times. I was lucky enough to go to Glendale for the opening weekend of the tour. And that was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I also got to attend one of the Atlanta shows. But even after my 17th Taylor show since 2009, I’m left wanting more. Hopefully I didn’t jinx this, but I already bought another outfit for at least one more show.
May the odds be in our favor. Taylor I can’t wait to see you again, let’s bring a second leg of the Eras Tour to Charlotte or at least North America!
