Ben & Jerry’s Announces A New Vegan Flavor Ice Cream
The vegan lifestyle is taking over.
Healthy eating has become a huge trend, and many people in the last few years have decided whether for health reasons, or for environmental reasons, to try a vegan diet.
With that shift in popularity, many brands have been responding with vegan options. In fact, just last month, Reeces announces they would be releasing vegan Reeces cups to stores.
One brand that has always been pretty good about having vegan options is Ben & Jerry. They have had a couple different vegan flavors available that I’ve noticed in stores, but they’re about to add one more; and it’s a fan favorite.
Ben & Jerry’s just launched a vegan version of its Stephen Colbert’s Americone Dream flavor, which is inspired by The Late Show host. The almond milk-based flavor features vanilla ice cream dotted with fudge-covered waffle cone pieces and caramel swirls. Only the vegan option is reformulated with new, all vegan ingredients.
The ice creams should be hitting shelves as early as this week, so if you’re looking to satisfy that vegan sweet tooth, keep a look out!
