With everything else going on in the world in 2020, the least I can do it my best to recycle.

I try my best to recycle, but I'll be honest, sometimes I get confused about what is or isn't recyclable. I know I can't be the only one.

Here are some common mistakes people make while recycling:

  • If there is food on it, it cannot be recycled (that includes pizza boxes)
  • Plastic tops may not be recyclable
    • while this one depends on where you live, your better safe than sorry removing plastic caps and throwing them away.
  • Coffee Cups are not recyclable.
  • Wine glasses are not recyclable.
  • Wrapping paper is not recyclable.
  • Batteries cannot be recycled.
  • Plastic shopping bags cannot be recycled.
