Study Shows Owning A Dog Can Help You Live Longer
Searching for a reason to get a dog?
This is a pretty good one. Mount Sinai endocrinologist Dr. Caroline Kramer just conducted research and found that,
“Dog ownership was associated with a 24% reduction in all cause mortality,”
And for people who may have already had a heart attack or stroke, it’s even better to own a dog.
“For those people, having a dog was even more beneficial. They had a 31% reduced risk of dying from cardiovascular disease,”
So next time someone tries to convince you that you shouldn’t get a dog, just show them this!
