The country artist split from her ex-husband Blake Shelton back in 2015, and was noticeable absent from the public eye following the split.
Soon after their split, Blake Shelton found new love with The Voice co-judge, Gwen Stefani, and they've been together ever since.
Turns out, Miranda Lambert was purposely quiet after her album came out; she opened up during an interview with HITs Daily Double, saying:
"We had another bomb when I told [Sony Music Nashville chief Randy Goodman] I wasn't going to talk to anyone. And I didn't… I came into [manager Marion Kraft]'s office and said, 'I'm not speaking to anyone until they hear this record.' That's fair. I thought that was fair."'
When she did do an interview however, there was one question that made her HANG UP THE PHONE!
"When the music was out, people had listened, I got on the phone for the first interview. First question was, 'How do you feel about Gwen?' I hung up. I told Marion, I just can't do this."'
We can't imagine how awkward that was, but good for Miranda Lambert for standing her ground!
