This Easy Makeup Tip Can Help Upgrade Your Outdated Makeup Routine
Alright, my fellow millennials, I have a real question; do you feel like your makeup routine is outdated? I’ve been starting to feel that way, and I think I just found one easy fix to help upgrade your routine.
Let me start by saying that makeup used to be my THING! Back when makeup tutorials were all over YouTube, I considered myself a master at makeup. I put in the hours, watching hours of content, learning all the influencer’s tips and tricks…. and then COVID-19 happened. Makeup became irrelevant with half of our faces being covered with masks, and I started to fall behind.
Now, I feel almost lost when I go into a Sephora or Ulta. Half of the products I used to use don’t even exist anymore, and I don’t know a lot of popular brands these days.
I’ve been wanting to find a way to update my makeup routine. I’m definitely wearing less makeup now than I was in 2018, as I’m going for more of a natural look. Sometimes, it’s a little too natural though, and it just hasn’t seemed to click for me.
Until today, I was scrolling on TikTok and I came across a video that shared a tip that makes so much sense!
Switch up your eyeliner!
Apparently black eyeliner is dead? Or at least that is what Gen Z is saying on Tik Tok. If you’re wanting a more natural, effortless, and updated makeup look, do this instead:
Use an eyeliner brush, and a dark brown eyeshadow. Instead of doing a hard line of black eyeliner, Gen Z is taking eyeliner and accomplishing the look, just the same.
Hopefully you’ll find this tip helpful as we all deserve to look our absolute BEST!
