It’s not going to be even harder to get to a few places from Charlotte.
We’ve seen more and more about pilot shortages and staffing issues affecting airlines in the last few months. It looks like that, as well as demand to certain places may have cause a pretty big shift at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. American Airlines just eliminated a few of their routes that were out of Charlotte Doulas International Airport. The airline will stop offering routes to three location from Charlotte.
- Alexandria International Airport in Rapides Parish, Louisiana
- Sioux Falls Regional Airport in Sioux Falls, South Dakota
- El Paso International Airport in El Paso, Texas
Charlotte is a hub for American Airlines, and it has become one of the nations busiest airports, according to WRAL.com.
Flight routes, and service will change depending on business and demand, but that does stink for the people who were relying on those flights. I for one, haven’t booked a flight in a year because inflation has driven costs up so much. I’ve been driving to most of my vacations, which hasn’t been cheap either!
