Charlotte Brewery Tries To Send A Beer To Space
One new brewery in Charlotte is taking their beer to some big heights, literally.
Devil’s Logic Brewing is getting its name out in a big way. The brewery, located on East 4th street posted a video on TikTok that has now gone completely viral. The video shows the team trying to send one of their beer cans to space.
Owner Brian Wallace told the Charlotte Observer, “People like to have fun, and that’s what attracted me to the brewing industry, as well. You have to take it seriously as a business — but you can have a lot of fun doing it, as well.”

Spoiler alert; the beer did not reach space, as it didn’t quite reach the Kármán line, which is the line that puts a boundary between outer space and Earth. BUT, the team estimates the beer got as high as 96,000 feet, which is pretty crazy.
Devil’s Logic Brewing had a soft opening last year, but decided to play is safe for the majority of 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, and re-open in 2021. They plan to re-open, and host a grand opening on June 4th, 5th, and 6th of this year.
