This Is The Most Popular Takeout Dish In The World

We’ve been doing a lot of takeout in 2020, and seeing as cases continue to reach new peaks in America, something tells me that we will be doing even more meals-to-go ordering in 2021 too.

The limits have become pretty much limitless when it comes to what you want to order for takeout, but what is the #1 takeout food?

Google analytics just released the list of the most searched takeout options this year, and these are the results.

It should come as no surprise, but pizza is kind when it comes to takeout!

Top takeout food searches:

  1. Pizza

  2. Chinese

  3. Sushi

  4. Fish and Chips

  5. Fried Chicken

I will admit, fish and chips surprised me, but judging as this is a worldwide report, it makes a bit more sense. When it comes to my favorites, the top two are pretty accurate for me. I’ve probably ordered more takeout pizza and Chinese food than any other food.
