Oldest Golden Retriever Celebrates Her 20th Birthday

First off, I am a sucker for golden retrievers; that’s in big part because my childhood pet was a golden retriever. I got Emma when I was 8 years old and she lived for 15 years, so she was with me through basically my entire childhood, and early adult life.
I thought Emma was impressive, living for 15 years but this golden retriever just became the oldest dog of the breed.
August, a rescue golden retriever from Nevada just celebrated her 20th birthday! She is now the oldest living golden retriever, and she is still so adorable!
