New Report Says Cybercrime Is Up 400% Since More People Are Working From Home
Many people have taken their jobs remotely since the COVID-19 pandemic started. Even I am mostly working from home now, which means spending a lot more time on different Wifi on my personal computer.
While working from home has many perks (including wearing pajamas most of the day), one of the cons is that cybersecurity is now at very high risk. A new annual report from the tech and security firm finds that cyberattacks have surged 400% since Americans have moved to work from home.
The survey found that 52% are using their personal laptops for work, and 45% haven’t received any new training on cybersecurity. Are you protected?

Hi, I'm Cameron! I was born and raised in North Carolina. I'm a super tall redhead who is always down for tacos, enchiladas, and margaritas. Okay, so Mexican food is my personal favorite, but I’m not saying no if you’re trying to eat out on the town anywhere. I I am on air for middays but also the Program Director for Kiss 95.1. I enjoy connecting with Kiss 95.1’s amazing listeners and being able to bring all of my favorite things like food, wine, and life online into digital content.
