This Is What A Rush Hour Drive To Work Looks Like Right Now In Charlotte
These are very strange times we’re living in.
North Carolina is still under a stay home order, until April 30th. Which means that the only people still going to work are essential workers. Radio personalities are included on the “essential worker” list, so I’ve been coming into the office.
I can’t help but feel so eerie every morning when I’m driving to work because of how empty the roads are. What used to take me about 20 minutes to go 3 miles, now takes me less than 10 minute, regardless of the time of day.
Here is a time lapse video of my drive to work this morning at 8:30 am in Charlotte.
Hi, I'm Cameron! I was born and raised in North Carolina. I'm a super tall redhead who is always down for tacos, enchiladas, and margaritas. Okay, so Mexican food is my personal favorite, but I’m not saying no if you’re trying to eat out on the town anywhere. I I am on air for middays but also the Program Director for Kiss 95.1. I enjoy connecting with Kiss 95.1’s amazing listeners and being able to bring all of my favorite things like food, wine, and life online into digital content.
