Charlotte Came Together To Light Up The Parking Lot At Levine Children’s Hospital
This was one of the coolest spurs of the moment events I’ve had the chance to go to. This past weekend, my friends and I attended an event at Levine Children’s Hospital.
I had only found out the event that day because of social media, but when I heard about it, I knew I wanted to go.
The event was called, “Lights For Levine” at Levine Children’s Hospital and the premise was pretty simple; bring flashlights, gather in the front parking lot and shine them at the windows at the hospital for the children.
When I got there, I couldn’t believe the massive turnout! So many people from the Charlotte area had gathered for this incredible cause that it brought tears to my eyes. We all got together, shined our lights, and sang “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.” It was an incredible event, and what’s crazier is this was the FIRST YEAR! I can only imagine how much bigger it will be next year.
Here’s a recap video of the event:
Love you Charlotte!
