The Wichita Public Library decided to take a page out of the grocery store playbook and show its book borrowers how much money they save by checking out books instead of buying them.
A photo of the receipt, first shown on Reddit shows that by checking out “The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe,” the person saved $164 dollars. It then goes on to say, “You have saved $1384.23 this past year and $7,078.76 since you began using the library!”
More saving means more spending on other important things like shoes, clothes, and cocktails! You’re welcome friends!
