According to the Charlotte Observer, it's all part of the 10 Best Readers Choice Awards from USA Today. They just revealed the top 10 favorite regional fast food chains in the United States. And they went to the people for this. It is fan based.

It's not the first time, Biscuitville made the list. This is the second year in a row this regional fast food restaurant ranked best in the nation. Here's what USA Today has to say about Biscuitville, “Headquartered in North Carolina with over 70 locations throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia, Biscuitville is a family-owned chain of restaurants specializing in Southern food". They go on to say, “Biscuits are baked fresh every 15 minutes for their menu of breakfast sandwiches and platters". Yum! Say no more! There are 69 locations across North Carolina so there is sure to be one near you.

The North Carolina based business has been around awhile. They have been around since the 1960s. The man that started it all, Maurice Jennings, started making recipes for this from scratch biscuits in the Tar Heel State and he really believed in his biscuits. Maurice says he "bets the farm" on his recipe and his delicious breakfast bread.

In all there are 80 locations. And not only can you find a Biscuitville in North Carolina but also in South Carolina and Virginia. This isn't the only recent honor for the fast food joint.
