Massachusetts Student Grows Lettuce To Give To The Community
Some people are taking quarantine time to cultivate new skills.
A high school senior in Massachusetts is one of those. Matt Tengtrakool started “QuaranGreen,” where he grows heads of lettuce and delivers them throughout his community via the contactless method. He says the plants are easy to take care of and grow pretty fast.
He added each pot also comes with a small booklet with tips on eating healthier and managing your own garden. Right now, he and his team have delivered 150 plants, and just received a new grant to further his project to surrounding communities.
