You put a lot of time into creating the perfect Instagram post, so it makes sense that you want your photos to get as many likes, comments and reactions as possible. That means choosing just the right moment to click “post,” but when is that? Increasing your visibility starts with posting at a time most of your followers will probably be online.
According to Bustle and Sprout Social, a social media management and marketing strategy software company, shares that Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday each have their own window of time that makes for the best Instagram posting opportunities:
- Mondays from 10 a.m. to noon
- Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Fridays from 9 to 11 a.m.
- According to Sprout Social, posting in these time frames should allow you to “see positive engagement results.” Of these four days, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the best for posting on Instagram, while Sunday is the worst.
Hootsuite, a social media management company, has also narrowed down the best times to post each day of the week. All their recommended times are in Pacific Time, but most likely apply to all time zones.
- They say the best time to post is Monday at noon, since users are ready to scroll then after a busy morning at work.
- Tuesday posts are most successful at 9 a.m., since more people are engaged then.
- On Wednesdays, hitting post at 11 a.m. is recommended. Hootsuite also reports that Wednesdays have the highest engagement overall.
- On Thursdays, the sweet spot is noon, but the window of 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. is also good.
- For Fridays, post at 2 p.m. for the best engagement.
- The prime post time for Saturdays is 9 a.m. since people are scrolling early. And if you miss all other weekday windows, wait to share your Sunday post until 7 p.m.

Michelle Bell, the founder of the astrology app Cosmic Fusion, pointed out which zodiac signs are most likely to utter the words, "Can we use your phone? Mine is about to die," during a night out.
The zodiac is divided into twelve signs including Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. Your zodiac sign is based on your birthday. However, when it comes to astrology, there is more to your zodiac than just your birthday. For instance, there are element associations, as well as the moon or rising signs, and others.
The ancient Babylonians created the zodiac with each of its 12 sections named after the largest constellation it contained. They observed that the movement of planets, called transits, corresponded with both future events and misfortunes on Earth.
According to The Good Trade, astrology highlights your strengths and weaknesses and offers information about things like love, career, family life, and life purpose.
Some zodiac signs are either too busy or too preoccupied to plug in their phones at night. You could be one of the three signs who never charges their phone.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18)
Bell said that Aquarius is often forgetful and is likely to have high screen time. "They forget about the practical things in life, like charging their phone or bringing a portable charger around with them," says Bell.
Aries (March 21 - April 19)
According to astrologer Bell, Aries has the "impulsiveness and tendency to act before [you] think" which makes it easy for you to forget to charge your phone before leaving the house.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21)
Sagittarius' "carefree and optimistic approach to life" can make it easy for the sign to forget to plug in their phone at the end of the day. "They’re too busy traversing the universe to think about charging their phone," says Bell.
