Apparently It Happens When We Shop At Our Favorite Stores
Apparently, it happens when we shop at our favorite stores. When we’re the most excited. When our adrenaline is surging and our anxiety takes over. We start thinking about the things we can buy inside of our favorite stores and then, it happens. What is it? Based on personal experiences, a lot of people on the internet are calling it the “Laxative Effect” and shoppers immediately have to use the bathroom. Their reason for the cause is that it’s the adrenaline rush of being in their favorite store, the coffee they’re drinking while they shop, or even the amount of walking they’re doing while they shop. With this many people coming to this conclusion on the internet, there has to be some truth to it, right?
A Gastroenterologist, or gut Doctor, addressed the theory and said that there isn’t enough actual research to support this theory. Dr. Supriya Rao summed it up as our bodies having an immediate increase in emotion which can cause tension. That tension can potentially get our digestive tract moving and as a result, we have to go number 2. Apparently, it happens when we shop at our favorite stores. Read what others are saying here!
