Happy Gilmore Is A Real Golfer

My favorite Adam Sandler movie is Happy Gilmore and today I found out that Happy Gilmore is a REAL golfer! His style of play isn’t as eccentric and aggressive as the 90s movie character, but the high school senior is working his way up the junior rankings. Landon “Happy” Gilmore was also named Player Of The Year in 2020 at the Hurricane National Championships according to Golf Digest. When he announced he committed to Ball State’s men’s golf team, Adam Sandler was one of the first to congratulate him.
