Here’s My Solution To Getting Rid Of Mushrooms In My Yard
I love my backyard. As first-time homebuyers two years ago, my wife and I scored the perfect little dollhouse with the perfect backyard. It’s the kind of backyard that always has the perfect sunlight-to-shade ratio. By 6:30 or 7:00 it’s all shade making it a pleasant time to grill, play backyard games or work on my short game for a couple of hours. It only takes me 45 minutes total to cut the grass, edge the perimeter, and blow off the patio. This is very convenient when it’s boiling in the summer and during football season. As you know, it rains basically every day in the summer so I always have to find a window of time to cut the grass. Well, it isn’t good for your yard to immediately receive any kind of moisture after a fresh cut. If this happens, a result could be the growth of mushrooms. This is exactly what happens to my yard every two or three weeks. I’ve tried sprays, spreads and everything in between to prevent the fungi from growing. Nothing has worked. I’ve decided to just lean into the takeover and work on my short game. Watch my solution below!
