- Driving directly, you can get there in an hour and a half, depending on traffic, or you can take a four to five-hour day trip with a stop by the Lowell Observatory or the Museum of Northern Arizona.
- Number two is Colorado Springs to Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado.
- Travelers can make this trip in less than three hours and make stops along the way at spots like the Garden of the Gods, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo or Bishop’s Castle.
