Duct tape fixes everything, right? We use it to fix car bumpers, hold leaks coming from a washing machine, we even use it to duct tape to fly. Wait, what? I saw this on TikTok the other day. A maintenance worker for Spirit Airlines is fixing a wing with duct tape. In the video, the woman mentions that someone told her it’s aviation tape and maybe it is. Regardless, it’s tape on the wing of a plane that’s about to fly hundreds of people to their destination at 30,000 feet. This would have been a hard pass for me if I saw this. Or, start sending the beverage cart around. I can’t believe we even use duct tape to fly. Watch the video below!
