A North Carolina aquarium is here to help some of our favorite sea creatures. The Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores is helping cold-stunned turtles get back healthy. They are helping over 200 cold-stunned sea turtles so that they can be nursed back to health. Who doesn't enjoy beautiful sea turtles?

QC News is reporting their good effort to help save these precious sea creatures. All of the turtles were rescued in different parts of North Carolina in December. The aquarium took in about 22 of the turtles. They received help also from the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue in Surf City and NC Aquarium at Roanoke Island. The sea turtles were all endangered or threatened in some way so this effort is of great help.

In good news, at least seven of the turtles from the Pine Knoll Shores aquarium have been returned to the aquarium. What a great way to start off the new year and help our sea life. Click here to get the full story.
