Netflix Wants You To Fall Asleep And Not To Gilmore Girls At 1:00 AM
I don’t have to explain to you that there are multiple streaming platforms out there. There are a ton of great shows to stream and a ton of shows that could start a dumpster fire with the opening credits and some people like shows like that. There’s something out there for everyone whether it’s on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, etc.. Usually my wife and I wait to binge a trendy series on the weekends because we know we won’t fall asleep until super late at night/early in the morning. The same goes for murder mysteries. Those shows creep up in my dreams if I watch them during the week and I never go back to sleep. Well, Netflix knows the sleep struggle we all occasionally face and have come up with a solution in the form of a series. And here it is:
It’s called “Headspace Guide To Sleep” and I can’t quite tell how I feel about it. I will say that I sort of started getting sleepy a minute into watching this trailer. I’m not sure if that’s because I was typing this blog at the end of a busy work week, or if it was actually working. It looks a little better for you than scrolling on your phone at 1:00 AM trying to fall asleep. Or, like I prefer, watching Gilmore Girls. Anyway, this sleepy little series comes out in a couple of weeks and I’m going to give it a try. However if Bridgerton or Schitt’s Creek pops up in my cue all bets are off.
