These Were The Five Best Dance Songs Of The Early 2000s
The early 2000s were weird for me. I was just coming out of my awkward middle school phase and into my awkward high school phase. I grew a couple of inches during the summer of my freshman year and went from wearing JNCO jeans that weren’t really long enough to wearing Old Navy carpenter jeans that weren’t long enough. While fashion was no friend to me until I could find taller sizes of pants, the music was on point! If you were in high school you’d roll into the parking lot with your radio turned up, but if you were a chaperone at a middle or high school dance it was your worst nightmare. Some of these songs were FILTHY.

Buzzfeed recently released a list of the best and dirtiest songs of the early 2000s. Every one of these songs was on blast in my high school’s parking lot before, after and sometimes during class. And with CD burning at it’s peak during this time, I think we can agree that we all technically had the same CD featuring the five songs you can find below. Let’s get nostalgic and relive some of the best years of dance music!
