First Emmy Rossum Announces Departure From ‘Shameless,’ Now Cameron Monaghan Follows
This season of Shameless is going to be emotional for different reasons.
You may know him as Ian Gallagher, but now you’ll have to refer to him as Cameron Monaghan. Emmy Rossum, Fiona Gallagher, announced before this season started that this would be her final season with the HBO hit series, Shameless. She gave us an entire season heads up but that is not the case with Cameron Monaghan. He posted on Instagram on Monday (Oct. 8) revealing that the show’s next episode would be his last.
He got emotional talking about his decision.

Next season will look a lot different without show siblings Ian & Fiona Gallagher, but both insist that the show must go on and that there is still a storyline without them.
