Husband Makes Wife Pay Into Taylor Swift Jar When She Mentions The Star
Some people have swear jars, but one Maryland couple has a Taylor Swift jar. It all started last month according to People. That’s when Dana Rice’s husband, Dan, got fed up with her talking about her favorite celeb. He said he couldn’t “take it any longer,” so he made a jar to make a little money off his wife’s frequent mentions of Taylor.
With a swear jar, people have to put money in when they let a four-letter word slip, but Dan makes Dana pay up for saying anything about the star. A video she posted on Instagram showing her husband creating the jar, which states she owes 25 cents for “any mention of T. Swift,” has gone viral. “My husband hooked me up with a roll of quarters right off the bat,” Dana says. “And of course, they’re going straight into the jar.”
The clip shows Dan outlining the rules of the jar, telling Dana that any mention of Swift’s new man, Travis Kelce, is also going to cost her 25 cents. Dana insists, “No! He doesn’t count,” then mentions how they were both on “Saturday Night Live” recently and Dan holds his ground, telling her, “That’s a quarter!”
If I had a jar for my wife, it would be a “stop jar.” She’s telling me to “stop” all the time. The kids too. That jar would be loaded up with money by the end of the week. To her defense, she does get bothered quite a bit by us. But it’s all love!
