OMG, this is something my co-host LauRen would do! Or, not do! A Chinese woman was removed from a flight by police after she refused to put her $3,000 Louis Vuitton handbag on the floor for takeoff. The incident unfolded on August 10 during a flight departing from Jiangbei International Airport, captured on video by another passenger and shared on the Chinese social media site Douyin.

Would You Put a Louis Vuitton Bag Down?

The flight crew had requested that the passenger stow her expensive handbag under the seat for safety reasons, but she refused, opting instead to keep the bag on the empty seat next to her while she used her cell phone, ignoring further instructions.

The standoff led the pilot to return to the gate, where the woman was detained by police as fellow passengers cheered her removal in the viral video. Online reactions were mixed; one Douyin user criticized the cabin crew's handling of the situation, suggesting, “The flight attendant could have offered her a bag to put her Louis Vuitton handbag in. Is it really necessary to waste an hour and kick her off the plane?”

Others criticized the passenger’s actions, with one commenting, “The flight attendant did not insist on the rule for nothing. The woman should value her safety and that of other passengers, rather than the bag.” What would you have done? I'm sure we can all agree, LauRen probably would have done the same thing as this woman haha
