Known for chronic sinus issues linked to allergies, Andi Norton, a 32-year-old from Phoenix, Arizona, had been advised by a doctor to blow their nose in the shower due to the humidity easing sinus relief. Despite following this advice for months without much change, one morning, something unexpected happened. "Something really hard shot out of my nose and hit the shower floor," Norton recounted. Picking it up, they were astonished to find it was a piece of Lego Newsweek reported.
This triggered a childhood memory from around 1998 when Norton, while playing, had lodged a Lego piece in their nose. Although Norton’s mother thought she removed the entire figure with tweezers, they never realized that an additional Lego piece had remained lodged in their sinus cavity for over two decades.
Norton noticed immediate relief upon the piece's removal, experiencing better breathing for the first time. Now, planning to keep the Lego piece as a keepsake, Norton shared their story on Reddit, finding humor and a sense of community with others who had similar childhood experiences. They are now considering turning the Lego into a ring! Niiice!
The All Time Best Video Games
According to SWNSdigital.com, the all-time best video games include FIFA, Mario Kart, and Super Mario World. Most of the games listed below are close to 40 years old. To see how video games have advanced over the last 40-plus years is awesome. I wasn't on this Earth when Atari was around but I have played a version of Pong that was included in that gaming system. I think it was pre-loaded on one of the first computers we had. The first gaming system I had was an NES. Super Mario Brothers, Zelda, and some sort of basketball game were the only games we had for it. In the true fashion of that NES, you had to bang and blow into the cartridge and system about every three plays to get it to work. I went from this to a Super NES when I was Eight or Nine.
At the age of 11, my gaming life changed. I made a new friend that lived next door to me and he had a PlayStation. Those graphics revolutionized the gaming industry. As a kid who was super into sports, the fact that you could actually play a baseball game and control your favorite team or player while also seeing their actual facial expressions was mind-blowing. The graphics in video games would continue to get better and a new system would also be born; XBOX. Not too long after another gaming experience would once again change the user's experience. In fact, the user used their own motions to get a full gaming experience. Nintendo Wii was the party starter gaming system and you could get a legit workout playing Wii Fit or Wii Sports. Tennis was my favorite and definitely belongs on the list of the all-time best video games. Read the below list!
