What Happened When Rickie Fowler Found A Snake At Quail Hallow?
Our yearly golf tournament went off without a hitch in Charlotte this weekend. Sort of! Former Wells Fargo Champion Rickie Fowler ran into a little snake issue while trying to get his ball out of the water.
While looking for his ball on Saturday, Fowler attempted to lift a snake back onto the grass with his wedge. The snake was in between some rocks.
The PGA tour posted footage of the incident which shows the snake wrapping itself around Fowler’s club. Welcome to North Carolina Rickie! Snakes are “up and at em” now that temperatures are warmer.
I can’t tell what kind of snake it was. I don’t think it’s copper enough to be a copperhead.
The snake wandered back into the creek after “Rickie Irwin” helped it PGAtour social media shows.

This isn’t the first animal encounter for Rickie. A few years ago while in New Orleans he tapped a gator on the head to chase it for the course.
