Does your ideal weekend include a top-tier brunch with mimosas or bloody marys? Sure, you can find a decent brunch just about anywhere, but a new report reveals where the best places in the country to find it are. Just in time for National Brunch Month in April, LawnStarter has figured out what the best cities in the U.S. are for brunch.
To come up with their rankings, LawnStarter compared the 200 biggest cities in the country in categories including the number of brunch deals and brunch clubs, customer ratings and demand. Topping the list as this year’s Best Brunch City is New York City, which was also number one in 2022. NYC has the largest number of brunch clubs, the highest community demand and is home to the most brunch deals.
One city closer to home has made the list...Charleston, South Carolina!

List: The 20 Top Charlotte Brunch Spots According To Open Table
It's barely Monday afternoon but I'm already daydreaming about the weekend. And one of my favorite things to do on the weekends? Brunch. You can satisfy your sweet tooth, enjoy something savory, and hello day drinking mimosas. It's the perfect combination. Especially when it's also filled with friends. And while I have some classic go-to places for brunch I love to try new places as well. But in a city like Charlotte with so many brunch spots, it can be overwhelming to know where to try next. It seems like every day somewhere new is opening. Some places that are considered hot spots have multi-hour waits no matter what time you go.
So let me offer you at least a little help. I went to OpenTable.com to figure out what Charlotte has rated as the best brunch in town. Some would have made my list, others I don't necessarily think of as brunch, and a few I'm adding to my list to try! This list features a variety of cuisines not just your typical pancakes, eggs, and waffles. Locations vary from South Carolina to South Park to the lake and many places in between.
