'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever': Fans React To Emotional Trailer
The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer has finally arrived. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever which will arrive in theaters on November 11.
With the unexpected passing of Chadwick Boseman (T'Challa) in 2020, Marvel/Disney decided not to recast Boseman’s character nor use special visual effects to portray him. Juding by the trailer, it appears that they’ve written the story as if King T’Challa has already passed away. The trailer uses a touching rendition of Bob Marley’s “No Woman No Cry” sang by Nigerian songstress Tems, which then blends into Kendrick Lamar’s 2018 “Alright.” Without giving any important points of the plot, the trailer shows Boseman’s character on a mural as both Shuri (Letitia Wright) who is T’Challa’s sister, and Ramonda (Angela Bassett) T’Challa and Shuri’s mother grieves their sudden loss. “I am the queen of the most powerful nation in the world, and my entire family is gone,” Ramonda says in the only lines of dialogue. “Have I not given everything?”
