Carolina Panther’s Tree Lighting Is Tonight in Charlotte
Uptown Charlotte will be buzzing with holiday spirit during the next two months.
On Tuesday, November 30 at Bank of America Stadium, the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC are inviting all fans and their families to the Tree Lighting Festival. This event features activities for the whole family. The tree lighting ceremony was shown virtually last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The festival features appearances by Sir Purr, the TopCats Cheerleaders, the PurrCussion Drumline, and the Black & Blue Crew, as well as Charlotte FC players and Carolina Panthers Legends in a procession. This will happen after the tree lighting. According to WBTV, other family-friendly activities include a photo booth, caricature artists, balloon artists, and face painting. You also have a chance to meet Santa Claus and watch a family-friendly movie shown on a big screen. Free bottled water and hot cocoa will be available. There will also be various local food trucks on-site.
My advice if you aren’t attending the Carolina Panther’s tree lighting is, DON’T GO UPTOWN TODAY! It will be wild, especially for traffic, so keep warm and stay home.
