Charlotte transforms into a winter wonderland this weekend with 12 holiday events spread across the city. On Dec. 14 and 15, 2024, the city comes alive with music, lights, and festivities.

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra rocks the Spectrum Center with their signature sound and light show for two shows on Dec, 14 at 3:00 and 7:30 p.m.. Meanwhile, kids pack Ovens Auditorium for the 2:00 p.m. showing of "Sesame Street Live" just a few blocks away.

Early birds hit Romare Bearden Park, where participants decked out in Santa suits take part in the Santa Run from 9:00 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday. Sunday brings football fever to Bank of America Stadium as the Panthers take on the Dallas Cowboys at 1:00 p.m.

Kids can get their picture taken with Black Santa at New Age Athlete Sports Facility from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. both days. The Schiele Museum serves up a prehistoric twist on breakfast with their Saturday Dinos and Donuts event.

Holiday shoppers pack Camp North End's Mistletoe Market on Saturday afternoon. The Park Expo supports a good cause with local artists showing their work at the Hurricane Relief Potters Market from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

As night falls, holiday lights take over the city. Truist Field glows during "Light the Knights" from 2:00 to 10:00 p.m. The Carolina Holiday Light Spectacular lights up Ballantyne's Backyard starting Sunday at 5:30 p.m.

Downtown Kannapolis gets into the spirit with its Christmas parade rolling through at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Comedy Zone wraps up the weekend with Rocky Dale Davis bringing the laughs on Sunday at 6:00 p.m.
