With things picking back up and restrictions loosening, a lot of cool movies are coming back to Queen City. With that being said, did you know there are a bunch of well-known actors who were born in Charlotte, North Carolina? With their stardom on the rise but their roots back in Charlotte, here are some of the 5 more recognizable names from North Carolina.

She is known for her lead role in "The First Time" and has appeared in the films "Tomorrowland", "Space Between Us", "A Dog's Purpose", and the film "I Still Believe". She appeared in the opening scene of Wes Craven's Scream 4 too which is pretty awesome!
