The Hallmark Channel Has Its Own Hard Seltzer
The hard seltzer market has blown up over the last few years and now a surprising source is getting in the game – the Hallmark Channel. Last year they teamed up with Wines That Rock to launch their own line of Hallmark Channel Wines. It’s billed as “a new way for people to enjoy the network’s signature holiday original movies.” And now they’re adding a boozy seltzer to the lineup.
Their Cheers Rosé Seltzer is described as “a deliciously sweet, rosé wine seltzer that is easy to enjoy anywhere, from picnics, to the beach to backyard barbecues.” So basically, anytime and like their wines, it probably pairs well with cheesy Christmas movies.
Andrew Nelson, Hallmark Channel Wines winemaker explains that their new hard seltzer is unique because it’s wine based. Most hard seltzers on the U.S. market are made from cane sugar, but this one starts as California sparkling wine grapes. The seltzer is “immediately added before canning to create a superior sparkling profile, with champagne-style bubbles.”
Hallmark Channel Cheers Rosé Seltzer is available in pink can four-packs for $16 and can be found at hallmarkchannelwines.com, but a retail launch is supposed to be coming in the future.
Side note, I love Beach Juice Rose in a can!
