Lizzo and Dove Team Up To Promote Body Positivity
Yesterday, body positivity queen Lizzo shared an unedited naked selfie in an effort to change the conversation around body positivity. Appearing with no clothes on, Lizzo holds a coffee cup in her hand as she celebrates “Taurus Season” writing, “To celebrate I wanna give y’all this unedited selfie.. now normally I would fix my belly and smooth my skin but baby I wanted show u how I do it au natural.”

Lizzo also said that she’s sharing the picture to celebrate her partnership with Dove and the Dove Self Esteem Project to help “change the conversation about beauty standards.”
Recently, Lizzo has been posting videos on TikTok speaking up about body shaming, fatphobia, and the importance of recentering and uplifting the bigger body types the Body Positivity Movement was made for.
@lizzo Please use the body positive movement to empower yourself. But we need to protect and uplift the bodies it was created for and by.
