South Carolina Beaches and Retail Opening This Week
Reports are saying South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster will announce today the reopening of public beaches and retail stores that had been closed due to the coronavirus.
The impending restriction rollbacks follow McMaster’s announcement that access to public boat ramps and landings was reinstated on Friday.
The order will apply to numerous nonessential stores, including department stores, flea markets, florists, bookstores and music shops. Grocery stores, pharmacies, home improvement stores, and medical facilities have been allowed to stay open during the coronavirus pandemic.
Don’t see the official word as of yet though. As far as North Carolina goes, there has been no mention of opening beaches or establishments to the public.
